About the company
The AMA Method is more than an interior design philosophy—it's a way of thinking about how our environments shape our lives.
Built on the belief that our homes influence our habits, routines, relationships, and wellbeing, The AMA Method combines intentional design, Design Psychology, and Feng Shui to create spaces that support clarity, calm, connection, and purposeful living.
At the heart of The AMA Method are three guiding principles:
Align. Create an environment that reflects your values and supports the life you want to live.
Move. Build intentional habits and routines that move you toward your goals.
Attract. When your environment, habits, and mindset work together, lasting transformation naturally follows.
We believe beautiful homes are only part of the story. The true measure of great design is how it supports the way you live every day.
Because transformation doesn't stop at the front door—it begins there.
For over a decade, I've designed homes for families throughout New Jersey. Along the way, I noticed something that changed the way I approached design forever. The most successful projects weren't simply the most beautiful; they transformed the way people lived. Families felt calmer. Daily routines became easier. Homes became places that restored energy, rather than draining it.
That realization became the foundation of The AMA Method.
The AMA Method
The AMA Method is built on a simple belief: Our environments have the power to shape our lives.
Through intentional design, Design Psychology, and Feng Shui, we create homes that support clarity, calm, connection, and purposeful living. Because when your environment is designed to support the life you're building, beautiful interiors become more than an outcome—they become the foundation for how you think, feel, and live every day.
We believe homes should feel as good as they look, because transformation doesn't stop at the front door.
Beyond Design
When I'm not designing homes, you'll find me teaching Lagree and Pilates, spending time with my husband and daughter, or exploring the connection between our environments, habits, and wellbeing.
Whether I'm designing a home or sharing ideas through The AMA Method, my mission is the same: to help people create spaces that support the lives they want to live.
The AMA Method is a philosophy for creating a life that feels as good as it looks.
Built on the belief that our environments have the power to shape our lives, The AMA Method brings together intentional design, Design Psychology, and Feng Shui to create homes that support clarity, calm, connection, and purposeful living.
At the heart of the philosophy are three simple principles:
Align. Create an environment that reflects your values and supports the life you want to live.
Move. Design spaces that encourage healthy habits, daily rituals, and intentional routines.
Attract. When your home, habits, and environment work together, you create the conditions for greater wellbeing, growth, and lasting transformation.
Because transformation doesn't happen by accident—it happens by design.
Hello, I’m Amanda
Founder of The AMA Method and AMA Designs & Interiors.
For over a decade, I've helped busy professionals and families create homes that feel as good as they look. As a working mother myself, I understand how valuable time, energy, and peace of mind truly are. My goal is to create homes that simplify daily life, reduce overwhelm, and support the people who live in them.
My passion for design extends far beyond aesthetics. With certifications in Design Psychology and Feng Shui, I've spent years studying how our environments influence the way we think, feel, and live. Along the way, I realized the most successful projects weren't simply the most beautiful—they transformed the lives of the people living inside them.
That realization changed the way I approached design and ultimately inspired the creation of The AMA Method.
Since founding AMA Designs & Interiors in 2014, I've had the privilege of partnering with incredible clients throughout New Jersey, collaborating with nationally recognized brands like HomeGoods, earning the 2023 Best of Essex Interior Design Firm award, and seeing my work featured in leading publications. But the greatest reward has always been helping clients create homes that truly support the life they're building.
