About the Company
Your home is shaping your life — whether you realize it or not.
Every room influences your habits, routines, energy, and relationships. Design isn't just about how a home looks. It's about how it helps you live.
The AMA Method is a virtual, intentional-living framework built at the intersection of Design Psychology, Feng Shui, and behavior-driven design. Rather than focusing on how a home looks, it considers how a home functions, how it makes you feel, and how it shapes the way you move through your everyday life.
Every AMA Method experience starts the same way: understanding the person – their lifestyle, routines, goals, personal hurdles, and the friction points in their home. The foundations of Interior Design, Feng Shui, and Design Psychology are the tools we use to translate those insights into a home that feels deeply personal and actually supports the life you're building, not just one that photographs well.
Your home shouldn't simply reflect who you are. It should support who you're becoming.
Beautiful design is the result. The real transformation transcends your four walls.
Hello, I’m Amanda
Founder and creator of The AMA Method.
For over a decade, I've helped busy, high-achieving women create intentionally designed homes around the way they live and the life they’re building for tomorrow.
During my years running AMA Designs & Interiors, I built a nationally recognized project portfolio, earned several Best of Essex awards, and partnered with esteemed brands like Thermador, HomeGoods, and Nobilia Cabinetry.
But along the way, I realized something that mattered more than any of it: the projects that meant the most to my clients weren't always the most beautiful or most expensive. They were the ones that changed how people actually lived — calmer mornings, easier routines, homes that gave energy back instead of draining it.
That realization is why The AMA Method exists today — and why I've built it to be fully virtual, so that kind of transformation isn't limited by geography or budget. As a working mother, I understand the value of time, energy, and peace of mind better than most, which is exactly why this next chapter looks different: a design framework you can access from anywhere, built to fit real life.
With formal education in Interior design, plus certifications in Design Psychology and Feng Shui, I've spent years studying how environments shape the way we think, feel, and function — and I've built The AMA Method to make that knowledge practical, not mystical.
Beyond Design
When I'm not designing, you'll find me leading Lagree (megaformer) and heated mat Pilates classes, taking class myself to stay sharp, chasing my toddler and our dog, listening to a podcast or audiobook, or studying the connection between how our minds, bodies, and environments work together.
Whether I'm designing a home or teaching a class, the mission is the same: to help people build the conditions — physical and otherwise — that support the life they actually want and achieve their goals.
